For the 5th release of our Cellar Collection series, this well-aged Straight Rye Whiskey is the latest emblem of our ever-evolving craft and the pursuit of what’s next. Inspired by tequila’s distinct process, our Master Distiller went in search of the world’s most flavorful tequila barrels. What he found was an intriguing anomaly — Patrón French Oak Añejo tequila barrels that held agave distillate for 4 years. Exceedingly rare both for their French Oak construction & aging time, these barrels lend a rich, spiced finish to our Straight Rye Whiskey. Crafted with expertise, we’ve merged the herbal nuances of tequila with the intricate spice of French Oak, which marry beautifully with the peppery character of our rye whiskey.

TASTING NOTES

Combining two distinct processes to create a unique flavor profile, the 5th Volume of our Cellar Collection Series is finished in Patrón French Oak Añejo barrels, resulting in a well-rounded, earthy flavor profile that complements our rich and spicy Straight Rye Whiskey for an exceptionally smooth, new blend.

COLOR: Golden Caramel

NOSE: Floral and fruit-forward. Toasty vanilla, with a subtle
clove smokiness.

PALATE: Baking spices and cracked pepper, tempered by herbal agave syrup. Earthy tobacco and brown sugar.

FINISH: Soft and balanced, with orange blossom honey,
tropical fruits, and a French oak finish.
