Arran Malt Scotch Single Malt Amarone Cask Finished is a limited-edition whisky that takes the rich flavors of Arran's signature single malt and enhances them with the influence of Amarone wine casks. Aged first in traditional oak barrels and then finished in Amarone wine casks from the Veneto region of Italy, this Scotch is a unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and innovative cask finishing. The Amarone cask imparts deep, rich flavors that complement Arran’s smooth, fruit-forward character.

Taste:
On the palate, it presents a complex mixture of dark fruit, such as dried cherries and raisins, balanced by the sweetness of honey and vanilla. The Amarone casks add a layer of rich, slightly tart red wine notes, along with hints of cocoa and leather, giving the whisky a luxurious mouthfeel. The high proof enhances the intensity of the flavors, making each sip more pronounced, while maintaining a smooth texture.

Finish:
The finish is long and warming, with lingering flavors of dried fruits, oak, and a touch of spice. A faint bitterness from the Amarone wine cask gives a sophisticated edge to the finish, complementing the smooth sweetness of the malt.
