This year’s Cigar Blend Bourbon is a 41-barrel batch composed of both low-rye (21%) and high-rye (36%) Bourbon, aged for a minimum of 8 years. The barrels were blended and then re-barreled into a combination of PX and Oloroso Sherry, Armagnac, Cognac and Tawny Port casks. The whiskey finished for a minimum of 6-months.

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey is bright with aromas of fresh orange zest and raspberry jam. Once sipped, red fruit flavors of strawberry and red grapes are apparent before revealing darker fruit notes of plum and figs. The finish is long and rich with hints of chocolate covered orange peel, toffee and toasted almonds.
