It is very traditional Douro dry red. The nose of blackberry and some dark cherry mixed with bit of smoke and pepper. Dry, medium bodied, with medium alcohol, medium acidity and relatively gentle tanines it is very nice table wine actually. You can expect dark fruit, dried fig and leather on the palate
