An Extra Añejo tequila is one that is aged for a minimum of three years.
This is what gives the tequila such a complex and sophisticated flavor. The agave is cooked in a steam-powered traditional stone oven, with a blend of natural spring, deep-well and rainwater.
An Extra Añejo is aged for three and a half years in used American white oak bourbon casks, which gives it a soft and light oakiness. Made with rain, spring and deep well water, it has just the right balance of minerality.
