For third straight year, the Borchetta family celebrates the return of IndyCar® to Nashville with their highly-allocated 2023 Borchetta Bourbon. This release coincides with the distillery’s title sponsorship of the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix where IndyCars race through the streets of Nashville at speeds of up to 200mph.
To commemorate the family’s passion and commitment to motorsports, the label on each bottle of the limited-edition release of Borchetta Bourbon features a photo of IndyCars racing in Nashville over a century ago, in 1911. That is also the same year as the inaugural Indy 500, and the photo on every bottle features IndyCars lined up for the start of the race at what is today the oldest operating racetrack in the US, Nashville’s Fairgrounds Speedway.
But what about the bourbon? Every ounce of Borchetta Bourbon is 100% distilled in-house, and each barrel is hand-selected by Big Machine Distillery EVP, Mark Borchetta. The family-owned Distillery is located right here in Music City. Every bottle is filled from a single barrel and is left at cask strength for the true connoisseur experience.
And for the 2023 iconic topper, the family has this year chosen to honor motorsport’s G.O.A.T., Mario Andretti. Atop the 2023 Borchetta Bourbon sits Mario’s multi-race-winning, 1985 Lola, the original of which resides in the personal collection of Scott Borchetta.
The Borchetta family is truly humbled to be able to honor Mario on this year’s bottle and we hope connoisseurs of both fine spirits and motorsports will enjoy this award-winning spirit.
