A powerful nose with dried and crystalised fruits aromas for this Pinot Gris Grand Cru Gloeckelberg. The wine has a soft and well-structured mouth, round at first with a good balance coming from its mature acidity that is a sign of its noble origin.
Its opulent side, a bit “”sultan-like”” makes this Pinot Gris Grand Cru Gloeckelberg an ideal companion for skillet-cooked foie gras. Discover it with dishes based on mushrooms, duck, roasted veal or game.
Wine for long aging, 10 years or more. The notes of citrus fruits are moving progressively towards exotic fruits. Serve between 10 and 12°C. Carafe if possible one hour before serving to allow the aromas to open up
