Chateau de Bligny is the only grower, producer estate in the Champagne region with a Chateau name.  It's a unique estate with an unprecedented heritage of history and winemaking. Today, the Rapeneau family, the 7th owner family, has striven, since 1999, to perpetuate the heritage of the estate while providing winemaking expertise.

Situated in the heart of the Cote des Bars (Aube region), Château de Bligny has 72 acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, among 8 plots. This wine, their Grand Reserve Rose is 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir inclusing 25% reserve wines and with 15% of red wine adding the brilliant rose color as well as a fleshy richness.

James Suckling scored this 92 points saying "This Champagne rosé shows some good complexity on the nose with bread crust and brioche to match some dried cranberries and raspberries. Direct acidity frames the fine layering of bubbles."

Wine Spectator scored this 91 points saying "Ripe black cherry, plum and spice notes are framed by juicy acidity, fine texture and a chalky base note in this well-knit rosé. Very approachable as an aperitif, but with structure to match light dishes."
