This wasn’t about putting a new spin on something that already existed. This was Chivas Regal taking the challenge to itself, creating a completely new blend with an entirely new age statement, guided by Charles Leclerc’s personal tastes and inspired by his iconic number.
The result: 16 carefully selected whiskies, each aged at least 16 years, brought together into a celebration of true mastery.
The creation of Chivas Regal 16 stemmed from Charles Leclerc setting us a challenge: to produce our first ever 16-year-old product.
Guided by his personal preference for our signature Longmorn Malt, Chivas Regal 16 expertly blends 16 different whiskies, all aged at least 16 years, to create a masterful symphony of dark tones and warm spicy notes.
