Sometimes magic and a bit of luck collide. During our first barrel tasting and buying trip in Indiana, Dark Arts was offered a new recipe that had not yet been brought to market. Built on a unique mash bill of 51% corn and 49% rye, with the rye split between traditional rye and malted rye, it immediately stood apart from anything we had tasted before. Once we sampled this liquid gold, we knew the alchemy was complete.

The result is a bourbon that balances sweetness and spice in equal measure, allowing the unique grain bill to shine while delivering remarkable depth and drinkability. Rich fruit, warm spice, and dessert-like sweetness come together in a whiskey we are proud to share with the world.

Nose: Ripe orchard fruits lead the way alongside gentle rye spice. Notes of caramelized sugar, bright lemon zest, and graham crackers create an inviting first impression.

Palate: Honeyed chocolate unfolds across the tongue, followed by layers of cherry cola, citrus, and warming cinnamon spice. Rich and balanced, the whiskey delivers both sweetness and complexity.

Finish: A rich and buttery mouthfeel carries notes of vanilla, caramel, and ripe fruit while subtle oak spice lingers through the final moments.
