Nestled in the heart of Chablis, Domaine de Biéville was established by Jean-Jacques Moreau in the 1970s. Today, it boasts 45 hectares of continuous “old vine” vineyards, a rarity in Burgundy. The domaine's ideal location offers optimal south/southwest exposure Nd soil structure similar to prized Premier Cru sites. The estate is currently managed by Anne & Louis Moreau. Now, four decades of Moreau Family expertise on this single vineyard continue to yield an exceptional wine ranking at the top of the Chablis AOC; renowned for its balance, texture, elegance and purity of fruit.
Golden in colour with tints of green. It is very fruity with hints of lemon and grapefruit, developing into softer fruits like apricot and pear. Quite round and ripe on the palate, with hints of pear and apple alongside the supple creaminess and mineral freshness you expect from this famous appellation.
If ever a wine was designed to suit a roast chicken, this is surely it. A great friend of any poultry dish.
