Top domain and probably the reference address for white wines from the Burgundy Côte d'Or: Domaine Leflaive became a kind of biodynamic icon and locomotive thanks to the charismatic Anne-Claude Leflaive, who died much too young in 2015. The domain itself is located on the idyllic village square of Puligny-Montrachet, but this now also includes several wines from other white wine communities in Burgundy. In the Rully appellation between Chassagne-Montrachet and Mercurey, the winery produces a classic Burgundy Chardonnay, which, after a one-year aging in oak fûts, shows itself in wonderful harmony and elegance.
