Komos XO is a specially crafted, ultimate blend of our finest & rarest tequila. Produced as a single batch, it is blended once, never again to be replicated. True to Komos craftsmanship, XO is made in Mexico using perfectly ripe 100% Blue Weber Agave, hand-harvested from both the highlands and lowlands of the Tequila Valley in Jalisco to increase the complexity of the blanco tequila base. The piñas are roasted in traditional stone ovens, and the aguamiel is naturally fermented and twice distilled in copper pot stills with their distillery partner. Through an exacting and complex aging process, this exceptional expression has been aged in a combination of American oak bourbon barrels and French oak red and white wine barrels, then finished in Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks. Each barrel is completely unique, and individually assessed over time. The youngest barrels age for a minimum of three years and the oldest are left to mature for up to 11 years. The result is a varied and beautiful tapestry that only the finest craftsmanship can achieve. Komos XO is a cuvee of remarkable depth and elegance, turning any moment into a timeless expression of revelry. XO comes to you housed in a crystal decanter.
