Mijenta’s Symphony Series explores the elegance of barrel aging using unique casks built from staves of different wood varieties. This reposado is matured for approximately 8 months in symphony barrels crafted from oak sourced from Minnesota, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The diverse wood composition creates a complex ecosystem that continuously enhances the tequila’s richness as it evolves. Bottled, Symphony Series No. 2 highlights the terroir of highlands agave, complemented by flavors derived from the barrels, including vanilla, coconut, fruits, and spices.

Tasting Notes

  • On the Eye: Light straw yellow with silver hues, medium to full-bodied.
  • On the Nose: Well-balanced aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, and banana, with hints of citrus fruits, herbs, and almonds.
  • On the Palate: Agave, vanilla, caramel, and banana lead the way, followed by chocolate, almond, mint, and spices like cardamom and clove.
