The nose opens with attention-grabbing, classic bourbon notes of freshly split vanilla bean, butter cream, and pound cake followed by stewed plums, leather, cigar ash, and roasted cashews. The palate is satisfyingly broad, offering a basketful of ripe summer fruits ranging from peaches to strawberries to golden apples. Fine barrel notes accent the long finish.
