NULU Whiskey Co. sources premium bourbon barrels and finishes them using a double-oaked aging process — first aging in new charred oak, then transferring the spirit to a secondary virgin oak barrel to deepen complexity and wood-driven character. This wheated bourbon emphasizes softer grain influence that balances spice and richness, catering to enthusiasts who appreciate nuanced, barrel-strength expressions.

TASTING NOTES:

Nose: Toasted oak and warm vanilla lead, followed by caramelized sugar and dark honey. Subtle cocoa, roasted nuts, and a hint of dried cherry develop with air. The wheat adds a soft, rounded sweetness beneath the oak structure.

Palate: Rich vanilla and brown sugar upfront, transitioning into toasted oak and baking spice. Mid-palate brings hazelnut, graham cracker, and muted dark fruit. Full-bodied with a creamy texture balanced by light tannic grip.

Finish: Long and warming, driven by seasoned oak and cinnamon spice. Caramel and vanilla fade gradually, leaving a dry, structured close with lingering cocoa and gentle heat.
