Tequila Primo 1861 is a premium tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco, with a legacy, a history and a name of over 200 years. It is a tribute to Pedro Camarena, the founder of the first tequila distillery in Arandas, Jalisco, who was a pioneer in the art of tequila-making. His distillery was burned down during the Mexican Revolution, but his legacy lives on through the tahona stone that stands proudly today.

The Tequila Primo 1861 Reposado is a single barrel tequila that has been aged for 61 days in new French Aromatic barrels. The tequila has a deep amber color and a rich and complex aroma of cooked agave, cinnamon, olive, and herbal notes, with a hint of mint and pepper. The palate is silky and oily, with notes of agave, green melon, and spices, and a long and satisfying finish.
