On the nose is a light spice-prickle - the first impression suggests a beach bonfire of dry seaweed, then maritime saltiness and marine engines take over, on a base of drying fresh linen. On the palate, a delicately sweet, smoky-spicy flavor with a hint of fruit and a salty balance in the middle, coupled with a smooth oily texture and a powerful chili pepper finish. Distilled by the sea on the shores of the Isle of Skye in Scotland, centuries of local distilling tradition and the rugged environment are what make our whisky so unique. This whisky is aged 11 years in American Oak ex-bourbon first-fill, refill, and wine-seasoned casks. For a luxurious, simple drink, serve in a whisky glass neat.
