This Port Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky is made from 100% malted barley and showcases both Old World and New World whisky making. AMERICAN SINGLE MALT WHISKY made on-site in Virginia with aged malt whisky from Scotland. A focus on cask finishing in Port casks adds depth and complexity.or

Batches of Port Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky incorpate Port-style wine casks from Virginia as well as traditional Tawny Port casks and is finished for a minimum of 12 months.

Coppery gold in color, this whisky offers aromas of honeyed fig, walnut, and apple. Barrel smoke mingles with sweetness from the fruit, developing into cocoa and melding into cinnamon and clove on the palate. The finish lingers with hints of caramelized sugar.

This Port Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky has been awarded World Whiskies Award’s Best American Blended Malt 4 years and running, from 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.
