The second high-proof release from Viva México produced using the distillery’s new volcanic-stone tahona mill has arrived, adorned with special limited edition packaging to commemorate the recent 2026 World Cup!

2026 saw a tremendous outpouring of national pride in Mexico, which both co-hosted the World Cup and exceeded expectations in glorious fashion with a perfect 9-point run in the initial Group Stage of the tournament. Though England ultimately knocked Mexico out in the Round of 16, thousands upon thousands across the country and around the world were united with hope and joy by “the beautiful game” this year.

This bottling is tribute to that moment, that pride, and that unity, featuring flags and a soccer ball woven into the label design. The batch comes off the still at 53% ABV and is slowly proofed down to 48% to represent the number of countries that participated in the World Cup. This tequila delivers quite a kick (ahem) while clearly conveying the Vivanco family’s careful agave cultivation and artisanal production methods—another expression of national pride.
