Founded by Gerhard Kracher and Aldo Sohm in 2008, Sohm & Kracher produces varietal wines from indigenous grapes in Austria’s Weinviertel region. ‘Lion’ is a varietal Gruner Veltliner noted with thirst-quenching flavors of green apple, pear, and white pepper. Pair with salads, fresh veggies, or fish tacos.

Bright green-yellow in color. Complex and focused: yellow apple, quince, and kefir lime on the nose. Rich on the palate, fresh from the focused acid, quite a long finish.
